Jessica Roman is an associate attorney at Kim Vaughan Lerner LLP. She graduated from
the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she focused on developing her
legal research and writing skills.
From 2021 to 2022, she proudly served as President of UF Law’s Asian Pacific American
Law Student Association and was Co-Chair for the law school’s 28th Annual Public
Interest Environmental Conference: Fifty Years of Environmental Law. She was an
active member of UF Law’s Environmental and Land Use Law Society throughout her
time in law school and, through UF Law’s Conservation Clinic, helped research and
develop policy outcomes to serve marine and coastal stakeholders on issues related to
coastal resiliency and restoration aquaculture.
Jessica was a general articles editor for UF Law’s Journal of Law and Public Policy and
was also a law student research assistant through UF’s Warrington College of Business
where she focused on matters concerning foreign investment, foreign enterprise, and
international franchise law.
In addition to her love of the law, Jessica also loves her dog, Jack, a Jack Russell Terrier.
